We're Andria & Kirstin — the "2 Girls" behind 2 Girls Tallow.

A few years ago, one of us started noticing the skin changes that come with perimenopause and menopause — dryness, irritation, nothing feeling like it used to. We spent a small fortune buying products recommended online, chasing every "holy grail" everyone swore by. Nothing worked.

So we went back to something simpler: beef tallow from Central Texas, the same kind of ingredient our grandparents' generation used before skincare turned into a chemistry set. A few weeks in, the difference was real — softer, calmer, less irritated skin.

We gave jars to friends. Then their friends started asking for some. That's how this became a real thing instead of a kitchen experiment.

Every batch is still made in small runs, by hand, in Lockhart, Texas. Just tallow, a few clean ingredients, and no filler.

From Our Kitchen. Not a Factory.

Most tallow skincare gets sourced from big commodity suppliers and shipped in bulk. Ours doesn't work that way.

Every batch of 2 Girls Tallow starts with real beef suet from Central Texas — the same fat we'd trust in our own kitchens. From there:

1. Source — We start with quality suet from Central Texas beef.
2. Render — Slow-rendered at low heat, so the tallow stays pure, clean, and shelf-stable — no shortcuts.
3. Double Whip — We whip it twice, not once — first to break it down, then again once it's cooled, for a lighter, fluffier texture than a single whip gets you. Scent ingredients get blended in during the second whip.
4. Hand-Pack — Packed into jars by hand, in small batches, in Lockhart, Texas.

No fillers. No water. Just tallow, a few clean ingredients, and time.
